Desperate Housewives – Season 7, Episode 3

1 Nov

I don’t think I’ll post any more on DH. Unless something amazing happens, maybe. It’s just all too predictable (not that I’m saying this is a bad thing) and to be honest, I can’t think of much to write about it.

Still, I’ve started so I’ll finish.

Last night’s episode was pretty funny, albeit tinged by that lingering sadness about Juanita. Paul’s new wife provided much mirth with her unintentional punning: Paul a “ladykiller” indeed! Susan continues cleaning in her lingerie in a farcical manner. How long until Mike finds out? ‘Stoned’ Tom was a delight, as was Lynette’s tricky switcheroo. I love their dynamic and as I said last week, I hope they won’t be ripped apart (again) by Renée.

Vanessa Williams may be simply reprising her role as Wilhelmina, but it’s just what the Lane needed. She is filling Edie Britt’s bitchin’ boots nicely. Although her egging on of Bree was a tad unnecessary. I feared Nipplegate #2 as Marcia Cross sashayed across the screen with her deep V.

As I said, that’s probably it for me for now on the Despos front. I might take it up again, and I will definitely keep watching, but for now, adios amas de casa.

I totally agree. I think they’ve hit the wall in terms of where to take the Series now.

After the 1st couple of Episodes to Season 7, it’s been pretty blah…

I agree, it’s still enjoyable, but I feel it’s just gone a bit flat.

Yeah, I have hope though…and hopefully they’ll be able to pick it up as the Season goes on. 🙂

It’s a mixed bag for me. The Solises have by far the best storyline so far, and Tom Scavo is always a joy to watch. Vanessa Williams seems to be enjoying camping Renee up to the max too, which makes for some good fun. But Bree and Susan’s plots are just SO dull. Irrational I know, but every time I see Bree fawning over Keith I want to run up to the screen and yell, “But he’s married to Megan Fox! You have NO CHANCE!!!” 😉
